This new new mini-modular spindle includes the whorl and finial, and three shafts that screw in and out, so you do not have to remove yarn from the shaft, until you have filled all 3. And because you are using the same whorl, the spinning is even.
Each beautiful KCL spindle is handcrafted by Ken Ledbetter, carefully finished and has been tested for precision balance and superior “spinnability” by Jill Holbrook, a lifelong fiber artist, teacher, designer, knitter, and weaver, with over 30 years experience in spinning.
These spindles are one of a kind works of art, signed and numbered by the artist – Ken Ledbetter.
